We are a leading IT Helpdesk Tier II – IT Support for Managed Service Provider specializing in Outsourced IT, Managed Network, and Managed Security services to SMB’s in the D.C Metro area.

We currently have an opening for IT Helpdesk Tier II – IT Support for Managed Service Provider. The IT Helpdesk Tier II – IT Support for Managed Service Provider will be responsible for level II technical support for clients. The IT Helpdesk Tier II – IT Support for Managed Service Provider will also mentor, train, and manage members of the tier 1 & 2 service teams.

IT Helpdesk Tier II – IT Support for Managed Service Provider Responsibilities: 

  • Support, and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Support, and troubleshoot VMware, HyperV, etc.
  • Work with, support, and troubleshoot the latest backup technologies (Datto, StoreageCraft, etc.)
  • Setup wireless networks
  • Handle a mixture of front-line tickets and escalated desktop support issues
  • Act as a Team Lead over the more junior Service Desk members; monitoring “trouble tickets”, keeping tabs on the support desk as a whole using dashboards and internal report

IT Helpdesk Tier II – IT Support for Managed Service Provider Requirements:

  • 2+ years working for a Managed Service Provider Required
  • Experience handling Tier II technical issues on the service desk
  • Team lead experience highly preferred**
  • ConnectWise experience a major plus
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and 10, Microsoft Office & Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with wireless networking, router/switch/firewall configurations
  • Intermediate- advanced understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, etc
  • Server Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc)
