We are currently seeking an IT Network Administrator to join a nationally ranked Managed/Cloud Service Provider.

This is an opportunity to join a IT Service provider specializing in network design, security, virtualization, remote access, backup/disaster recovery solutions, as well as public/private or hybrid cloud.

The Network Administrator should possess mid-senior level networking knowledge and experience. As Network Administrator, you will work on the Solutions Team to design and implement solutions for clients.

**2+ years of MSP experience required**

IT Network Administrator – MSP Responsibilities: 
  • Work in-house or be assigned to project management teams working with outside clients.
  • Implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
  • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
  • Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Assess the existing network technologies to increase the performance, security & efficiency.
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders

IT Network Administrator – MSP Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years as a Network Engineer preferably for a Managed Service Provider
  • Routing and Switching: Cisco Routers, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco Nexus Switches ,Cisco Small Business Switches, Cisco Meraki Switches, Netgear Switches
    HP Switches, Dell Switches
  • Wireless: Cisco WLCs, Cisco Aironet WAPs, Cisco Meraki WAPs
  • Security: Cisco ASAs, Cisco Meraki MXs, VPN (IPSec/SSL), Fortinet
  • Traffic Separation
  • SonicWall
  • Additional Skills: Google Cloud • Microsoft Azure • Vendor Management
