IT Network Escalation Engineer – MSP

The IT Network Escalation Engineer – MSP will a key member of a 10–12-person service department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting clients’ issues as they are assigned to you by the Remote Dispatcher. IT Network Escalation Engineer – MSP responsibilities remotely and in the field. The position requires in depth knowledge of information technology, systems engineering, and IT planning. As a IT Network Escalation Engineer – MSP you will be expected to get the client back in working order efficiently and effectively all while maintaining a high level of customer service.

IT Network Escalation Engineer – MSP Responsibilities:
- Physical and virtual server administration, deployments, and migrations. On-prem and cloud.
- Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Provide support for Office 365 (and sometimes Exchange for the few still holding out with on-prem)
- Provide Tier 2 desktop and application support (first escalations from the help desk), including new user setups, line of business application support, and hosted application support.
- Produce, maintains and update technical documentation.
- Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform deployments, migrations, and deployments,
IT Network Escalation Engineer – MSP Qualifications:
- Advanced on Microsoft Workstation Operating Systems (XP to Windows 10)
- 2 years MSP Experience REQUIRED
- Previous experience in IT services, IT consultancy, or MSP supporting multiple external clients highly preferred
- Ensure accurate and timely resolution of all assigned issues; escalate product bugs or unresolvable cases to the engineering team if necessary; notice trends and report reoccurring problems
- AD, DHCP, GPO, Print Management
- Office 365 licenses, subscriptions, and user management
