IT Network/Systems Support & Deployments – Remote

We are currently seeking an experienced IT System Administrator who is interested in being part of a fast growing Cloud and Managed Services Provider (MSP) located in Washington, DC. Starting 20 years ago as a team of two, they’ve expanded to over 25 employees and are proud of the fact the average tenure at our company is over 4 years.

The IT Network/Systems Support and Deployment responsible for providing support and working on projects for 4-6 clients. This position is a remote opportunity.

There is also a company car that is provided to tenured employees. Core business offerings are Cloud Solutions and Services, Managed IT Services and Network Consulting to the SMB market. The Systems Administrator will be providing on-boarding, virtualization migrations/deployments, some desktop support, networking (Cisco/SonicWall)) and systems engineering to end users in a team environment.

IT Network/Systems Support & Deployments for Managed Services Provider.

Up-to-date in Windows/ Windows OS including installation, management, and security as well as Exchange (2010/2013/2016), as well as Office 365. This role requires a working knowledge of routing and switching, as well as cloud services like Office 365 and Azure.

Technologies:

Windows 2008/2012R2/16, Azure is a plus
P2V migrations with VMware, ESXi, and Hyper-V
Conceptualize the design and deployments of new offices and new clients (Windows/Virtualization/Cloud)
Meraki, Firewalls (SonicWALL), Switches (Cisco)
Clearly communicate technical projects to non-technical clients
Interact with clients of various technical skills
Keep accurate records of your time and services provided
Adapt to a rapidly changing environment
CCNA and MCSA is strongly preferred.
