IT Sales Executive (Managed Services):

As we continue to scale, we’re currently seeking an IT Sales Executive (Managed Services) who can own the sales process and eventually grow into a leader of the sales department. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone with experience in outbound B2B sales who thrives in a hunter-style role, understands the MSP space, and is motivated by the chance to build and lead something meaningful.
This is a full-time position based in Palatine, IL, with flexibility and growth potential baked in. The ideal candidate will be someone who’s excited to take the reins, build client relationships, and eventually shape the future of the sales function at a fast-growing MSP.
IT Sales Executive (Managed Services) Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, with a strong focus on outbound new business development
- Qualify inbound leads generated by our telemarketing and email marketing partners and convert them into discovery calls and proposals
- Develop and maintain relationships with small-to-mid-sized business clients in a variety of verticals
- Prepare proposals and pitch support solutions, managed services, and consulting offerings
- Follow up consistently with leads and prospects through email, phone, and in-person meetings
- Utilize CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline and track opportunities
- Provide feedback and contribute ideas for refining sales strategy, messaging, and collateral
- Become a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their pain points and aligning solutions to their business goals
IT Sales Executive (Managed Services) Requirements:
- 2–5 years of outbound B2B sales experience in IT services, SaaS, or a consultative sales environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a “hunter” mentality – you’re not afraid to pick up the phone or knock on a door
- Comfortable managing a pipeline and using CRM tools to stay organized
- Interest in growing into a leadership role and helping to build a repeatable, scalable sales process
- A desire to be part of a collaborative, close-knit team where your work truly makes an impact
- Prior MSP or tech sales experience is required
