IT Sales Executive (Managed Services):

The IT Sales Executive (Managed Services) role you will build revenue growth and profitability in the IT managed services, cyber security, automation, disaster recovery and business continuity workstreams. Our consulting and integration group offers solutions in IT management and support, IT auditing and best practice alignment, business continuity and security, CIO technology advisory services, and application development expertise.
The ideal IT Sales Executive (Managed Services) candidate will be an established and well-connected sales account executive who is passionate about sales and technology and has the polished written and verbal skills to listen and communicate with new potential customers. This advisor must be a problem solver – a consultative advisor who seeks to understand the customer’s business objectives and have the skills to uncover solutions where IT processes and systems can become a strategic enabler for the client.
IT Sales Executive (Managed Services) Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quotas.
- Develop and execute a multi-faceted prospecting plan through cold calling, emailing, leveraging personal contacts, and following up on firm-generated leads.
- Meet regularly, remotely and onsite, with C-level prospects to discuss IT costs and results and match opportunities with MainSpring service offerings.
- Attend networking events, conferences and tradeshows to build relationships that will create new business opportunities, primarily in the Houston area.
- May require occasional travel/visits for trade shows, client meetings etc. as necessary.
- Present and align our IT solutions to prospect’s needs.
- Develop and nurture new business pipeline from a defined geographic territory.
- Manage leads through sales process from qualification to closed decision and follow-up.
- Conduct sales follow up activities, to include meeting with prospects, preparing and presenting proposals, developing sales and marketing artifacts, and contributing to marketing campaigns.
- Meet Sales & Marketing activity goals and standards, specifically as they relate to documentation and management of prospect lists and managing sales opportunities using required customer relationship management systems, like HubSpot Sales.
IT Sales Executive (Managed Services) Salary + Benefits:
- Base Salary of $60k – $70k, expected OTE of $160k+
