MSP Sales & Business Development Executive – Houston, TX (Hybrid)

A Houston-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a Sales & Business Development Executive to join its growing team! With a strong presence across multiple industries—including engineering, legal, manufacturing, and e-commerce—the company delivers IT solutions focused on secure desktops, network management, cloud support, and ransomware prevention. Now expanding into the metal manufacturing and fabrication sector, they are looking for a results-driven sales professional to drive growth and build lasting client relationships.

Houston, Texas 77035 – Hybrid

  • Initial onsite training for the first few weeks
  • Long-term breakdown: 60% onsite (client sales or office) / 40% remote

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
  • Uncapped Commission Structure:
    • Recurring Revenue: Earn a one-time bonus equal to the recurring revenue generated (e.g., $10K in recurring revenue = $10K bonus).
    • Project Sales: Earn 10% commission on projects exceeding $2K.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients, particularly in finance, e-commerce, and companies with in-house developed applications.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges in compliance, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency to offer tailored IT solutions.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build strong connections.
  • Market Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to position IT services as essential business solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate trust with key decision-makers such as IT directors, compliance officers, and executives.
  • Pipeline Development: Manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring continuous follow-ups and deal progression.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and technical teams to develop tailored proposals and campaigns.
  • Closing Sales: Drive deals to completion with a consultative and strategic approach.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience selling IT services, cybersecurity, compliance tools, or application development solutions.
  • Proven success in selling to finance, distribution, e-commerce, or tech-driven companies.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in professional services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
