IT Senior System Administrator – Projects Team (MSP):

We are seeking an IT Senior System Administrator – Projects Team (MSP) with strong expertise in building and managing full infrastructure stacks, coupled with cybersecurity knowledge, to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you’ll design, deploy, and manage complex client environments for our growing Managed Services and Security Provider (MSSP) business, supporting a diverse range of clients, with an emphasis on those manufacturing products for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and are pursuing CMMC compliance.

IT Senior System Administrator – Projects Team (MSP) must have at least 1 year of MSP experience, be able to pass a federal background check, and have at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.

IT Senior System Administrator – Projects Team (MSP) Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of MSP experience
  • MUST have an A+, Network+, or Security+ certification. No exceptions.
  • Deploy and manage complete server room stacks, including routers, switches, firewalls, SANs, Windows Server environments, and virtualization platforms.
  • Design and implement infrastructure with security-by-design principles, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance.
  • Handle advanced configurations of:
    • Routers, VLANs, QoS, and VPNs.
    • VMware environments, SAN connections (iSCSI/Fiber), and Windows Server OS.
    • Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS/DHCP, and Remote Desktop.
    • Enterprise email systems, including Exchange and Microsoft Office 365.
    • Collaborate with helpdesk teams as the bridge between Tier 2 support and client-facing implementations.
    • Perform technical designs for new deployments, migrations, and high-availability solutions.
    • Conduct proactive assessments, monitoring, and maintenance, aligning technology with industry best practices.
    • Assist clients with security and compliance frameworks, including NIST and CMMC, through vulnerability management, policy creation, and risk mitigation (e.g., SSP, POAM).
