IT Senior System Administrator General Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimum performance of systems via routine maintenance and comprehensive documentation for Server Administration (OS, AD, GPO), Physical/Virtual Machines, and all third-party systems SAAS/HAAS and any integrations to On-Premise or Cloud Devices.
- Ensure Environments maintain metric thresholds via established reporting tools (ScalePad, Sophos, Nable)
- Resolve complex hardware and software issues
- Champion System Upgrades as necessary (OS, Hardware/Software/Firmware, Dell Servers/Power Vaults); Research relevant options by completing comprehensive discovery, prepare Statement of Work and Product Quotations to support Project Plan Deliverable.
- Advanced/Expert Level Knowledge; Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Partner Center; License/Subscription Administration
- On Premise Exchange/Google/Legacy Mail Systems to M365 Migrations.
- Share Point, One Drive, Teams Administration and Advanced/Complex Support
- Microsoft Azure
- Advanced/Expert Level Knowledge; Sophos Firewall/End Point/WAP, MDR or similar type solutions.
- Advanced/Expert Level Knowledge in Backup and Disaster Recovery; Datto or similar type solutions.
- Advanced/Expert Level Knowledge in Network Design and Administration (TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, VLAN)
- Advanced/Expert Level Knowledge of Industry Management Software; ConnectWise, N-Able, Pass-Portal, ITGlue, ScalePad, Auvik
