IT Service Desk Engineer Level 2 (MSP) Overview:

Due to expanding its engineering team, we are searching for an IT Service Desk Engineer Level 2 (MSP) to help bolster its clients’ modernization efforts. The position will split time between providing escalated support (for Tier 1s) and working on a few light projects. As the IT Service Desk Engineer Level 2 (MSP), you will support Windows/Microsoft technologies (Azure AD, O365, Servers, Exchange, etc.), VMware administration, Citrix administration, troubleshooting SonicWall, and working hands-on with desktops/printers. It’s a full-time position salary-based between $50K to $60K, with an excellent benefits package.

IT Service Desk Engineer Level 2 (MSP) Technical Proficiencies: 

  • Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, VMWare, Citrix, WAN/LAN connectivity, firewalls, security, VPN, Terminal Services, Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Azure, printers, and backups.

IT Service Desk Engineer Level 2 (MSP) Responsibilities:

  •  IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications
  • Support services for Microsoft-related technologies: Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server, Exchange, O365, Active Directory, etc.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls (SonicWall).
  • Provisioning and installation of hardware and software as they relate to user workstations, servers, and other IT-based appliances, etc.
  • Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
