We are long-standing and growing Cloud & Managed Service Provider in Clifton, NJ, looking for an IT Service Desk Engineer (Tier 2) to join our team. Specializing in IT services for the medical sector, they support SMB clients with comprehensive managed services, security solutions, and project-based work in highly scalable environments.

As a IT Service Desk Engineer Tier 2 (MSP)r, you’ll resolve advanced technical issues escalated from Tier 1, handling a range of software, hardware, and network troubleshooting. You’ll collaborate with vendors, assist on project tasks, and contribute to the team’s documentation and operational efficiency.

IT Service Desk Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level support for technical issues, including operating systems, applications, and network troubleshooting.
  • Track and document all support activities and update the internal knowledge base.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Monitor systems, perform maintenance, and support system upgrades and migrations.

IT Service Desk Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Qualifications:

  • Experience in Tier 2 technical support within an MSP.
  • Proficiency in Windows, networking, and standard business applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
