IT Service Desk Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Overview:

We are excited to have experienced continuous growth and in keeping with that momentum are seeking to add an IT Service Desk Engineer – Tier 2 (MSP) to our talented team.

The IT Service Desk Engineer – Tier 2 (MSP) position is a key contributor in the success of managing our client’s networks. This is achieved by quickly resolving incidents that our clients open tickets for and by constantly monitoring the alerts generated by our tools to resolve incidents before our clients are aware. The IT Service Desk Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) will make heavy use of ConnectWise, M365, Azure, desktops/networking, virtual servers (VMware/Hyper-V), SonicWALL, and Meraki.

IT Service Desk Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Requirements:

  • Experience supporting the Microsoft operating system environment and web/networked computing environments (Windows Server and Desktop, MS Exchange, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.) is required
  • Proficiency in LAN, WAN and WLAN as well as network security principles, network monitoring and maintenance, and capacity planning
  • Experience with M365, Azure Entra ID, SharePoint and Intune
  • Hyper-V, VMware ESXi
  • SonicWALL, Sophos, Meraki
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex or time sensitive issues and identify solutions
  • Prior experience with help desk ticketing systems and service desk management tools (i.e., ConnectWise, Autotask, Kaseya, etc.) is required
