IT Service Desk Technician (ConnectWise)

The IT Service Desk Technician (ConnectWise) main responsibilities will be handling L1 and L2 issues via ConnectWise. Technologies that the IT Service Desk Technician (ConnectWise) should be comfortable with our AD/GPO, Windows Server (up to 2019), Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V), software installations, hardware repair, SonicWALL, Meraki, routers/switches, and Azure. The IT Service Desk Technician (ConnectWise) will analyze trends of issues they are receiving to work with the Sr Engineers to develop proactive solutions.
We are only considering IT Service Desk Technician (ConnectWise) applicants with previous MSP experience.
IT Service Desk Technician (ConnectWise) Responsibilities & Technologies:
- Experience with desktop operating systems
- Email Administration with mid-level of user management including configuring new accounts, password resets, and troubleshooting user login, profile, and permission issues
- Virtualization Administration and architecture knowledge such as rebooting virtual machines, allocating necessary resources, and maintaining the hypervisor
- Experience with O365 and ConnectWise
- Domain functionality experience with Active Directory functionalities, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- High-level experience and knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience of Backup Solutions
- Experience in troubleshooting Remote Desktop Services and VPN
- Experienced in core network components
- Maintaining standards and documentation on an ongoing basis as products and technologies evolve
