IT Service Desk Technician Level 1.5 (MSP) Requirements:
- 1+ years of help desk or network support experience (MSP experience required).
- Strong proficiency with Windows 10, 11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with DNS/DHCP troubleshooting and hardware staging/deployment.
- Hands-on experience with desktop and software support.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within NYC.
IT Service Desk Technician Level 1.5 (MSP) Technical Knowledge
- Candidates should have experience working with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, with MacOS knowledge being a plus.
- Managing user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration is required.
- Understanding and troubleshooting networking components such as DHCP, DNS, and basic firewall or router configurations is necessary.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and the Office Suite, is essential.
- The role requires hands-on experience with workstation and laptop troubleshooting, as well as hardware staging and deployment.
- Experience using remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools like ConnectWise or Kaseya is preferred, and familiarity with documentation tools like ITGlue is a plus.
- Candidates should be capable of supporting remote work solutions, including VPN configurations and remote desktop troubleshooting.
