We’re hiring a skilled IT Service Desk Technician – Level 1 (MSP) to provide technical support for workstation/server hardware and software. Experience in Microsoft Windows workstation and server environments and knowledge of AD and basic network infrastructures is required. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving technical issues, performing workstation hardware diagnostics, configuring and managing printers, setting up scan functions, and managing users in hosted services such as Office 365.

Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office is necessary, as well as excellent customer service skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. IT Service Desk Technician – Level 1 (MSP) Primary Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical issues
  • Diagnose and repair workstation hardware
  • Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange users
  • Troubleshoot third-party applications
  • Address user profile, performance, and printing issues
  • Configure and manage printers and scan functions
  • Manage Office 365 users
  • Understand common protocols such as DNS, DHCP, and SMB
  • Configure wireless access points and troubleshoot connectivity
  • Install and troubleshoot routers, switches, and access points
  • Resolve internet issues and communicate with vendors
  • Manage Microsoft Remote Desktop/Terminal Services
  • Troubleshoot file permissions and performance issues
  • Monitor problems and ensure timely resolution through ticketing system (ConnectWise)

IT Service Desk Technician – Level 1 (MSP) Salary + Benefits:

  • $45,000 – $60,000 (dependent on experience)
