We have a position open for a IT Service Desk Technician Tier 1.5 (MSP) to function as a support specialist working for a Managed Service Provider that has nearly doubled in size over the last 4 years!
The IT Service Desk Technician Tier 1.5 (MSP) will provide end user support on the service desk and eventually assist senior engineers with project-based work. The IT Service Desk Technician Tier 1.5 (MSP) is an ideal role for an IT Professional that has exposure in the MSP space and is looking to quickly progress their IT career. The IT Service Desk Technician Tier 1.5 (MSP) will act as an IT expert to clients often explaining technology in non-technical terms and consulting them on best practice’s.
IT Service Desk Technician Tier 1.5 (MSP) Day to Day
- IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and cloud offerings, as well as virtual environments
- Troubleshooting workstation, networking, and server issues remotely
- Support Windows Servers
- Manage Accounts in Active Directory
- Troubleshooting & Administration of O365
- Integrate new server hardware and applications under the supervision of a more senior engineer
IT Service Desk Technician Tier 1.5 (MSP) Job Requirements:
- 1+ years Managed Service Provider Experience required*
- 1+ years experience with ConnectWise preferred
- Knowledge/ Experience with Office 365
- Knowledge/ Experience with Active Directory
- Knowledge/ Experience with DNS, DHCP
- Experience configuring and install various computer and Windows servers
