IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for user support via telephone, email, and in-person interactions
- Evaluate, prioritize, and troubleshoot requests related to networks, devices, software, and peripherals
- Independently resolve service tickets, showcasing technical expertise and problem-solving skills
- Deliver adept technical support for Microsoft applications, M365, and Azure.
- Display basic knowledge of scripting languages and automation principles
- Maintain transparent communication with customers regarding incidents, changes, and outages.
- Uphold consistent attendance and punctuality as crucial performance factors.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- The ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Support Microsoft Servers – AD, DNS, etc.
- Administer and support Windows Desktop systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Configure, administer, and support Anti-virus and Anti Malware (Sophos a plus)
- Required Experience within an MSP environment or supporting multiple clients concurrently.
