IT Support Engineer & Jr System Administrator (MSP) Overview:

We are an 30 person Managed and Cloud Services Provider with clients throughout the country. We are looking for an IT Support Engineer & Jr System Administrator (MSP) to join our Syosset, NY team. The Support Engineer & Jr System Administrator (MSP) will work on a team of 15 ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 3 allowing this person to be constantly exposed to new technologies. The IT Support Engineer & Jr System Administrator (MSP) will be handling support requests via ConnectWise and Kaseya. The technologies that the IT Support Engineer & Jr System Administrator (MSP) will be responsible for include, but are not limited to: workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software.

IT Support Engineer & Jr System Administrator (MSP) Requirements:

Proficiency in Windows 10, Office 365, Enterprise tools for OS deployment, software distribution, the client setup on applications
Understanding/ familiarity with Microsoft desktop operating systems and productivity applications
Experience with testing and troubleshooting PC’s
Troubleshooting and managing Microsoft Windows-based environments.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory
Troubleshoot skills and basic networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHTP)

IT Support Engineer & Jr System Administrator (MSP) Compensation:

$50,000 – $65,000 (dependent on experience)
