A growing MSP based in Somerset, NJ is hiring a LIT Support Engineer L2 to join their hybrid team. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident supporting Microsoft environments and is ready to take on more project-based work involving Azure, security, and modern infrastructure deployments. You’ll split your time between supporting end-user escalations, implementing client projects, and making occasional site visits (all local).
🔧 What You’ll Do

Handle Level 2 escalations across desktop, server, M365, and networking environments

Assist with and lead portions of cloud-first deployments (primarily Microsoft stack)

Configure, support, and maintain systems: Windows Server, Azure AD, M365, Exchange, and Outlook

Troubleshoot basic firewall and network issues (FortiGate, Meraki, etc.)

Support BCDR tools like Datto, Carbonite, and Azure-based backups

Visit local client sites 1–2 days per week (all within 30 minutes of Hazlet)
🧠 What You Bring

3–5 years of experience in IT support, ideally with MSP exposure

Solid grasp of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365

Experience with networking and firewall troubleshooting (FortiGate, Meraki preferred)

Familiarity with PSA/RMM tools (ConnectWise a plus)

A proactive mindset and desire to grow into more project or cloud-focused roles
