IT Support Engineer Level 2 (MSP/ConnectWise) Overview:

We are a premier Managed Services Provider renowned for its IT and cybersecurity expertise, is searching for a dynamic and seasoned IT Support Engineer Level 2 (MSP/ConnectWise) to bolster its team. Serving a broad spectrum of clients across industries such as financial and professional services, we’re dedicated to delivering customized technology solutions that meet each client’s specific requirements.

As an IT Support Engineer Level 2 (MSP/ConnectWise), your primary role entails managing escalated support requests and addressing technical issues sourced from the Service Desk queue and going onsite. Collaboration with the Technical Engineering team is essential, as you’ll provide support to a select group of core clients. Additionally, you’ll take ownership of documentation and technology stacks related to these clients, ensuring comprehensive and efficient support services.

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer Level 2 (MSP/ConnectWise) with previous MSP experience and comfortable interacting directly with end users.

IT Support Engineer Level 2 (MSP/ConnectWise) Technology & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an escalation point on client support agreements
  • Set up and install new end user devices, servers and network equipment
  • Administer, manage, support and maintain Windows Desktops, Servers, Microsoft 365, and Azure
  • Troubleshoot workstation software and hardware
  • Perform hardware upgrades and swaps
  • Support the back office and application services
  • Maintain backup and recovery procedures for network systems
  • Treating our clients and your team with professionalism, respect, patience and care
  • Maintaining excellent communication with clients and your team to ensure tickets are properly handled, and clients are well-informed of ticket progress
  • Mentoring/coaching Service Desk SAs on escalated tickets so they can better handle similar issues moving forward
