IT Support Engineer – Level II (MSP) Overview:

We are a longstanding Managed Services Provider located in Syosset, NY that has been in business since 1993. We are seeking IT Support Engineer – Level II (MSP) a highly motivated and experienced full-time technician. We pride ourselves in providing industry leading solutions, creative thinking, process building, and award-winning support to small and medium sized businesses. Our success is measured in the quality of work, not on billable hours.

The IT Support Engineer – Level II (MSP) will play a very important role handling escalated issues from our clients onsite and remotely via ConnectWise. The IT Support Engineer – Level II (MSP) will be best known for being personable and technically savvy with Microsoft office products such as troubleshooting Office 365, Hyper-V, as well as familiarity with Windows Server 2012, 2016, & 2019 administration. An IT Support Engineer – Level II (MSP) in this role should also understand basic networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, Mail Transport, IP Troubleshooting, and DFS, etc.

IT Support Engineer – Level II (MSP) Requirements:

  • Previous experience at a Managed Services Provider is a MUST
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7/8/10/11)
  • Working in an Active Directory Environment (Joining Computer to Domain, Create Accounts, Reset Passwords)
  • Standard Desktop Applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat etc.)
  • M365 Administration
  • Multiple Internet Browsers (Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome etc.)
  • Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware Software (Sophos, Trend Micro, Crowdstrike, Sentinel, etc.)
  • On-premise and hosted VoIP systems
  • Networking technologies
  • Be familiar with ticketing/help desk software (i.e. ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.)
  • Be familiar with RMM software (i.e. Automate, Kaseya, Datto, Synchro, N-Central, etc.)

IT Support Engineer – Level II (MSP) Salary + Benefits:

  • $55,000 – $65,000 (flexible based on experience)
