IT Support Engineer Tier 2 – Managed Service Provider

Looking for a talented and experienced IT Support Engineer Tier 2 – Managed Service Provider, with server administration experience, to join our team at a Managed Service Provider (MSP)! In this role, you will work closely with our clients to ensure their IT systems are running smoothly and are optimized for maximum efficiency, including server management. You will be responsible for deploying physical and virtual servers, managing and monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and maintaining accurate documentation.

IT Support Engineer Tier 2 – Managed Service Provider Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Diagnosing and resolving basic server and network issues
  • Responding to and managing support tickets through various tools such as ConnectWise
  • Monitoring client systems and networks for performance issues and identifying potential problems before they cause downtime
  • Supporting Cloud Projects and assisting Senior Engineers

IT Support Engineer Tier 2 – Managed Service Provider Requirements:

  • Experience working for an Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Experience using a PSA tool, such as AutoTask, ConnectWise
  • Experience using an RMM tool, such as ConnectWise Automate, Datto RMM, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Servers – AD, DNS, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud Offerings – Azure, M365, VDI, etc.
  • Experience supporting Windows Desktop systems and Microsoft Office applications

IT Support Engineer Tier 2 – Managed Service Provider Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary $65,00o to $70,000 (dependent on experience)
