IT Support Engineer Tier 2 (MSP)

This role offers the chance to work onsite with a key client three days a week, while also delivering remote support through various channels.

IT Support Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues for clients, ensuring detailed documentation.
  • Provide prompt remote support and troubleshooting via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and performing onsite installations.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Oversee backup solutions, hypervisor deployment, and Windows printer/file server troubleshooting.
  • Implement and maintain Windows File Share/DFS and contribute to SOP development.
  • Support software and equipment patching, network documentation, and asset inventory management.
  • Drive process improvements and collaborate on network and server configurations with Network Engineering teams.

IT Support Engineer Tier 2 (MSP) Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience handling multiple projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of network servers, storage arrays, routers, switches, and desktop platforms.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with MS Windows Server (2008/2012/2016), managed DNS, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange (Hosted or On-Prem), MS Office (2013/2016), and backup/AV solutions.
