A growing IT services firm supporting clients across Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Onsite IT Support Specialist to support a key client in Ramsey, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with experience in the fast-paced MSP space who values client relationships, hands-on problem-solving, and being the go-to tech resource.

What You’ll Do:

End-User Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all on-site IT support needs
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Document and track resolutions using internal ticketing systems

Hardware & Software Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain IT equipment (printers, peripherals, etc.)
  • Install and configure Windows OS, applications, and business tools
  • Provide remote or in-person support as needed

Infrastructure Support

  • Monitor system health and assist with routine server/network maintenance
  • Support the broader MSP team in ensuring infrastructure reliability and security
  • Flag potential risks and escalate issues to senior engineers when appropriate

Training & Documentation

  • Deliver user training on basic IT procedures and security best practices
  • Create self-help documentation and internal support guides

Security & Compliance

  • Assist with endpoint security management and patching
  • Reinforce compliance standards and educate users on secure computing

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in an MSP or multi-client environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience supporting various hardware and software environments
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, documentation tools, and remote monitoring tools
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • A self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working face-to-face with users
