IT Support Specialist Tier II (Partial Remote) – MSP
We are looking to bring on a IT Support Specialist Tier II (Partial Remote) to join our mid-size IT Managed Services Provider located in the greater Chicago area. We support small to medium sized businesses in a variety of industries which allows the IT Support Specialist to work with a diverse set of technologies. IT Support Specialist Tier II (Partial Remote) – MSP Responsibilities:
- Mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers, printers, and workstations.
- Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Provide support for Microsoft server technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Hyper-V and Microsoft Cloud
- Manage and Deploy Firewalls, Managed Switches, and other Networking Equipment
- Manage and Deploy VMWare Environments as well as Hyper-V
- Assist clients with technology planning, IT project management, reporting and compliance
IT Support Specialist Tier II (Partial Remote) – MSP Requirements:
- SonicWall, Meraki or Cisco experience configuring, deploying and troubleshooting
- 2+ years of Experience working for a Managed Service Provider Required*
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies
- Must be comfortable administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.
- Mid Level to advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server based applications, services, and technologies (AD, DHCP, DNS, Office 365, Azure AD)
