IT System Administrator (Managed Services)

Looking to fill an IT System Administrator (Managed Services) position.

We are an innovative Cloud Services Provider located in Rochelle Park, NJ that has been in business for over 30 years. We provide Managed IT Services, Cloud Services, Backup and Disaster Recovery Services, IT Consulting, VOIP Solutions and much more to clients across the country. We work with clients in many different industries and help tailor solutions to fit their exact needs. The IT System Administrator (Managed Services) will work from home 3 days per week and report to our office 2 days per week.

The IT System Administrator (Managed Services) will be joining a 50 person MSP and will work on a team of 12. The IT System Administrator (Managed Services) will split their time handling escalated tickets and working on infrastructure modernization projects. The IT System Administrator (Managed Services) should have strong Microsoft knowledge, experience with migrations and configurations, and excellent customer service skills. This role will eventually lead to a Senior Engineer, vCIO, or Team Lead position.

Only considering IT System Administrator (Managed Services) with previous MSP/CSP experience.

IT System Administrator (Managed Services) Requirements:

ALL recent versions of MS Windows Server
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDP, TCP/IP, VPN, SSLVPN
Experience with IAAS Platforms such as AWS and Azure
MS Exchange Server (2007-2019) and Office 365 hosted solutions, including migrations from prior versions and cloud Exchange deployments
Moderate MS SQL Server database management preferred
VMware vSphere management, including new implementations and migrations from prior version
HPE servers and storage solutions including Nimble SAN, MSA Storage
Networking experience including configuring VLANs, experience configuring and supporting managed Layer II/III switches
SonicWALL NSv, NSA- and TZ-series firewalls
Experience with law firm-specific application suites and legal macro packages
Familiarity with ConnectWise PSA and Datto RMM platforms
Experience using IT Glue (or equivalent) for System Documentation
