Day to Day:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, servers, network devices, printers, and applications
- Deliver expert-level support both remotely and on-site to troubleshoot system or connectivity issues
- Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective action proactively
- Manage user accounts, permissions, MFA, and endpoint protection using Active Directory and security tools
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and backup/disaster recovery platforms
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, SOPs, system diagrams, and asset inventory records
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or sysadmin role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint management
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, switches, and routers (Cisco, Ubiquiti, SonicWall a plus)
- Comfort with tools like remote monitoring and management (RMM), ticketing systems, and PSA platforms
- Solid communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent documentation
