IT System Administrator (Mid Level) Position Overview:

We are continuing to grow, which is why we’re seeking a MSP experienced IT System Administrator (Mid Level). The IT System Administrator (Mid Level) will handle a mix a of escalated issues, system administration, and infrastructure upgrade projects. You’ll be responsible for implementing and supporting internal systems, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments, as well as supporting Microsoft-related technologies, virtual environments on Azure and VMware, and disaster recovery solutions. You’ll also provide technical services and support for network connectivity, firewalls, and security, as well as remote access solutions like VPN and Microsoft Intune.
IT System Administrator (Mid Level) Technical Skills:
- Mid to advanced knowledge in Windows server design and implementation, VMware, Hyper-V, SAN, and LAN/WAN routing and switching
- Hands on experience with designing, implementing and supporting past and current Windows server platforms:
o Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
o Exchange Server 2010 — 2019 administration - Office/Microsoft 365 and Azure Server implementation and management experience
- Experience with hypervisor implementation, tuning management and troubleshooting, including V2V and P2V migrations
- Experience with implementing routing and switching such as VPN, VLANs, deep traffic and packet level analysis
- Windows 10/11 installation, recovery, support, and maintenance
- Active Directory and Group Policy administration
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP administration
