A well-established, growing IT services provider is seeking a skilled IT System Administrator to join their technical operations team. This is a client-facing role where you’ll work across a variety of industries and environments, providing both reactive and proactive support to small and mid-sized businesses. What You’ll Do
- Monitor and respond to service requests quickly and professionally
- Provide both hardware and business application support (Microsoft 365, Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Troubleshoot issues related to LAN/WAN connectivity, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Exchange Online
- Support and administer mobile devices via Intune (iOS, Android, Microsoft)
- Manage hardware configurations, including new computer setups, thin clients, and mobile devices
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring technical issues
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, knowledgebase articles, and support tickets
- Escalate technical support issues as needed, working directly with vendors (Microsoft, Dell, etc.)
- Analyze service trends to identify preventative solutions and emerging patterns
- Provide consistent, professional, and courteous client service
- Participate in ongoing professional development and certification programs
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT support or system administration experience (MSP or SMB support strongly preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and network troubleshooting
- Experience configuring and supporting Windows devices, mobile platforms, and common business applications
- Experience working with PSA/RMM systems for service desk and ticket management
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication; client-facing professionalism is a must
- Industry certifications are a plus (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60,000 – $80,000, based on experience
