IT System Administrator (MSP)
We are a growing Managed Service Provider serving the SMB market in the greater Chicago area. We have various service offerings including but not limited to Cloud Services, Cyber Security, Managed Services and hybrid cloud solutions.
We are seeking a IT System Administrator to provide a mix of support and project-base work. The ideal candidate for our IT System Administrator position is someone who has mastered end user support and has exposure to backend system administration. The day to day responsibilities for the IT System Administrator include analyzing client infrastructure to identify areas of improvement, assisting senior engineers with projects such as o365 migrations and providing escalated support using ConnectWise.
IT System Administrator- (MSP) Experience:
- Configure and install various computer and Windows servers
- Migration experience O365/G-Suite/Servers
- Strong communication/ ability to recommend solutions and services to C-levels
- Experience supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading corporate customer’s networks (routers/switches/firewalls) and in house servers
- 2+ years of MSP experience required
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications under the supervision of a more senior engineer
- Virtualization knowledge is a must (VMware and Hyper V).
- Intermediate understanding of networking (Routing and Switching).
