System Administrator (MSP/ConnectWise) Overview:

We are seeking a System Administrator (MSP/ConnectWise) who enjoys problem-solving, working with new technologies, and working on a team. In this role, the System Administrator (MSP/ConnectWise) will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency, security, and reliability of our network and systems, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure, SonicWALL, Meraki, VMware, Hyper-V, and other related technologies.

At this time we are only considering System Administrator (MSP/ConnectWise) applicants with previous experience working for a Managed or Cloud Services Provider.

System Administrator (MSP/ConnectWise) Responsibilities:

  • Configuration of standard Microsoft 365 and Exchange clients
  • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of MS Office Suite applications per customer’s preferences.
  • Understanding of and ability to install, configure and test workstation hardware including video cards, NICs, sound cards, hard drives, and mobile devices.
  • Configure file, print, and remote access services.
  • Administration, including add/remove users and groups, configure file permissions, check event logs, configure and restore from backup.
  • Administration of enterprise e-mail application, including add/remove users and group, configure folder permissions if applicable, forward mail to other accounts, and add aliases.
  • Experience required with Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity.
  • Experience with routers and firewalls.
  • General understanding of DNS services.
  • Basic working knowledge of Firewall Technologies – SonicWALL, Meraki, etc.
