IT System Administrator (MSP/Windows)

We have an opening for an IT System Administrator (MSP/Windows) role paying up to $80k with full benefits, 401(k) with 3% match, annual reviews, certification reimbursement, and internal growth opportunities!
The IT System Administrator (MSP/Windows) will support clients remotely onsite and in person, all in the Riverside area (don’t worry, we won’t be asking you to go to Downtown Los Angeles). You will perform a wide variety of IT support services for various client industries ranging from simple desktop support to complex server, network and IT security services.
Previous MSP experience is required for this position.
IT System Administrator (MSP/Windows) Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a MSP
- Comfortable working in large datacenter environments
- Possess strong knowledge of local and off-site data center environments and vulnerability security management
- Comfortable implementing / deploying IT security & data protection systems
- Working with setting up and managing corporate firewalls
- Possess knowledge of MS Server / VMware Virtualization, upgrades, migrations, MS Server and O365 administration
- Experienced with Dell Server hardware and related technologies
- Experienced with Local and off-site VEEAM Backup & Replications, Cloud Backup and DR simulation services
- Able to work at a high level independently, utilizing company resources
- Able to demonstrate high initiative and ownership of issues
IT System Administrator (MSP/Windows) Technologies:
- Microsoft Windows10, Microsoft 365, Outlook and Office Suite
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Microsoft Active Directory / Azure AD integration
- Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- In-depth understanding of IP based networks and the Internet (DNS, DHCP, WINS)
- Networking connectivity/equipment TCP/IP for both LAN and WAN topologies, including: routers, managed switches, VLANs, WLANs, NAT, firewalls
- VPN Setup and Configuration (Gateway to Gateway, PPTP).
- Knowledge of encryption practices and deployment
- Ability to understand proprietary application environments (installation, configuration, etc.)
- -Setup/Configuration of Hosted Services such as Online Backup, RDP and 2FA/MFA
