Our Professional Services team is growing and we are seeking an IT System Administrator & Project Engineer (MSP). The IT System Administrator & Project Engineer (MSP) is a key, strategic position within the organization. The IT System Administrator & Project Engineer (MSP) is responsible for aiding in the deployment of new IT infrastructure solutions, upgrading existing ones, and monitoring client security. In this role it is crucial to maintain the integrity and security of the customer’s software systems, coordinating complex projects, and implementing software solutions.

At this time, we are only considering IT System Administrator & Project Engineer (MSP) applicants with previous MSP experience.

IT System Administrator & Project Engineer (MSP) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Microsoft Azure and VMware.
  • Design implementation, and support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Azure Active Directory, Azure Infrastructure, Office 365, Intune, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
  • Design, implementation, and support services for Apple technologies. (JumpCloud)
  • Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Familiarity with security solutions such as: Threat & Vulnerability Management. SIEM management. Change Management. Cyber Security Awareness Training and phishing tests. Endpoint Protection Response.
  • Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Windows Virtual Desktops.
  • System documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendations.
  • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages.
  • Aid in security gap analysis initiatives by documenting and verifying compliance through various systems. Review group policy and Intune settings, validate IT asset inventory, User access, etc.
