IT System Administrator – Support & Projects

Seeking a IT System Administrator – Support & Projects to join a Managed Cloud Services Provider who has been providing high-level support to small to large businesses since 2002. All of their clients are in hybrid or full cloud environments meaning the IT System Administrator – Support & Projects won’t ever deal with break/fix issues. Within the first 3 months the System Administrator – Support & Projects will transition away from escalated support and into a predominantly project based capacity.

IT System Administrator – Support & Projects will make use of MS O365, MS Azure and AWS, various virtualization tools (VMware & Hyper-V), as well as, desktop/networking support. Projects for the IT System Administrator – Support & Projects will include O365 migrations, migrating on-prem environments into AWS or Azure, and deploying firewalls (Cisco & SonicWALL).

IT System Administrator – Support & Projects Requirements:
· Server OS and associated technologies – (Server 2008 +, Exchange 2010+, PowerShell, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.)
· Strong understanding of DNS and how it affects network and servers
· Office 365 migration, troubleshooting and setup
· Next Generation Firewall (UTM) support and configuration (Sophos, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or SonicWall, preferred.)
· Switch installation, configuration and troubleshooting with VLAN configuration.
· Strong organizational and communications skills with project management capabilities.
· Assertive, customer-friendly and goal-driven attitude.
