IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP):

Our current opening is a for a full-time, permanent IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP) who has previous experience working in the MSP industry.

In the IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP) role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing clients’ software, hardware, and networks. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure security and availability, and provide excellent customer support. Key technology requirements for the IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP) are Windows Server, M365, VMware, Hyper-V, LAN/WAN, and Azure.

IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP) Requirements:

  • Develop and implement monitoring tools and solutions to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems affecting performance of LAN.
  • Troubleshooting/support of M365.
  • Maintain existing monitoring and notification systems and recommend improvements to maintain network stability.
  • Implementation and migration of software and hardware upgrades and patches.
  • Troubleshoots network access problems and implements network security policies/procedures.
  • Monitors and maintains VOIP/Voice systems.
  • Troubleshoots end-user and complex server problems and serves as a key contact for desktop support and remote office support
  • Monitors alerts and create tickets accordingly
  • Handles customer support requests over the phone and via ticket system
  • Handles escalated support requests and further escalates when needed
  • Handles on-site support requests when needed
