As an IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP), you’ll be at the forefront of our operations, tackling both service desk tickets and diving into exciting project-based work, including migrations to the cloud and beyond. This role is your gateway to gaining invaluable backend system administration exposure while working closely with seasoned engineers on thrilling projects.
IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP) Responsibilities:
- Take charge of managing servers, firewalls, routers, and switches
- Dive into virtualization technologies like VMware & Hyper-V
- Provide Tier 2 service desk support, resolving complex issues with finesse
- Assist in seamless Microsoft 365 migrations
- Keep our systems running smoothly through meticulous documentation in ConnectWise and IT Glue
IT System Administrator Tier 2 (MSP) Skills/Experience:
- Master of Active Directory and Group Policy creation
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and public cloud platforms (Azure)
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi or Hyper-V, including P2V migrations
- A solid foundation in Windows Server Administration
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider is a must!
- Bonus points for PowerShell scripting prowess
