IT System Administrator (Tier II) – MSP

IT System Administrator (Tier II) – MSP Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer M365 environments, including user management, security settings, and troubleshooting.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Perform virtualization tasks using VMware and/or Hyper-V, including setting up and maintaining virtual machines and environments.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewall solutions, ensuring network security and compliance with best practices.
- Provide advanced support for escalated IT issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on client operations.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan, execute, and document IT projects for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of client environments, including configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide proactive recommendations to clients.
IT System Administrator (Tier II) – MSP Experience:
- 2+ years of experience within an MSP environment.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, VMs, and storage.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Solid understanding of firewall configurations, VPNs, and network security principles.
- Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
