IT System Engineer – Hybrid WFH (MSP) Overview:
We are a fast growing Managed Services Provider located in Manhattan. We are searching for an IT System Engineer – Hybrid WFH (MSP) to handle top level escalations and work on infrastructure modernization projects.
The IT System Engineer – Hybrid WFH (MSP) position within the company and will make a big difference to our clients and our growth. As a IT System Engineer – Hybrid WFH (MSP), you will be responsible for the repair, installation and maintenance of server, computer, peripheral, and networking hardware, either at the customer’s location or through a remote connection. In addition you will monitor and maintain network systems, troubleshoot and make improvements to customer’s networks as necessary.
IT System Engineer – Hybrid WFH (MSP) Experience and Technologies:
- Experienced in Managed Services (MSP); excellent knowledge with best practices in keeping IT systems efficient – minimum of 1 year managed services experience
- Deployment and administration of Microsoft 365 (M365) environments. Proven success migrating business email to M365
- Optimizing network (all components: network gear, servers, desktops, and the like) software and hardware
- Building and deploying file servers and cloud computing solutions; Windows Server 2016 and newer experience and VMware implementation experience a plus; understanding of Azure implementations
- Implementing and monitoring network security; inclusive of firewall and VPN install & configure
- Performing network infrastructure troubleshooting including Windows Server troubleshooting
- Designing general business local area networks; inclusive of WiFi install & configure
- Configuring and deploying VoIP solutions; comfortable with physical install as well as configuration
