System Administrator – MSP

Are you a self-driven, security-minded System Administrator ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment? A growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a sharp and dependable System Administrator to support and improve the IT infrastructure of a high-performance financial services client headquartered in Irvine, CA.

In this role, you’ll manage and support a fully hybrid workforce of ~75 users across the country, balancing hands-on technical support with strategic infrastructure projects and cybersecurity operations. You’ll be the go-to for system uptime, secure access, endpoint protection, and remote collaboration tools—playing a key role in keeping the business efficient, compliant, and resilient.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and improve IT systems, networks, endpoints, printers, and peripheral hardware

  • Provide timely, professional support both on-site and remotely

  • Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, MFA, and endpoint protection solutions

  • Support and secure telecommunications and remote access systems

  • Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing issues

  • Manage access controls, user accounts, and permissions

  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness

  • Support process automation and compliance-related IT initiatives

  • Maintain documentation including SOPs, system configurations, and inventories

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration (MSP or financial/regulated industry experience is a plus)

  • Strong grasp of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, MFA, and endpoint security tools

  • Experience supporting distributed or remote teams across locations

  • Knowledge of networking, remote access, and system uptime best practices

  • Organized, dependable, and capable of managing competing priorities with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Compensation & Benefits:
