IT System Engineer – Level 2

We seek an IT System Engineer – Level 2 candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service Provider. The IT System Engineer – Level 2 will provide day-to-day support to clients implementing projects and deploying new technologies. The IT System Engineer – Level 2 will be responsible for modernizing infrastructures, accessing and building networks, and supporting escalated support.

CANDIDATES POSSESSING EXPERIENCE working for IT Managed Services Provider, Cloud Service Provider, Data Center or has experience working with ConnectWise or Kaseya or any RMM tool are HIGHLY encouraged to apply. The IT System Engineer – Level 2 will split time between providing remote escalated support and taking the lead in maintaining the server/networking infrastructures across various locations. The selected candidate will work with the Project Manager to implement projects efficiently.

IT System Engineer – Level 2 Experience:

  • ***Experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP) REQUIRED***
  • Configuring and deploying Windows 2012-2022
  • Superior troubleshooting/diagnostic skills
  • Strong Windows Server & Virtualization experience (VMware and Hyper-V)
  • Implementing network software and hardware upgrades and configurations (Cisco, SonicWALL, Meraki)
  • Support end-users in a help desk and on-site environment, resolving hardware/software issues
  • Configure servers and other key components in Azure
  • Proficient with Azure administration and support
  • Microsoft Stack (Azure, Office365 Applications, SharePoint, Windows desktop, and server operating systems)
  • Strong knowledge of Powershell scripting and Microsoft Intune Configuration
  • Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, WAPs, VPNs, and other network appliances
  • SAN Storage experience with HPE, Dell, NetApp
  • Backup products such as Datto, Veeam, or Azure Backup
