IT System Engineer (Managed Services) Overview:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced IT System Engineer (Managed Services) to join our Professional Services Division. The IT System Engineer (Managed Services) will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of the projects assigned to them. The IT System Engineer (Managed Services) will work alongside Senior Engineers and complete some projects autonomously. Major projects include, but are not limited to, M365 migrations, Azure migrations, M365 security enhancements, Windows Server configurations, and setting up new networks from scratch.

We are only considering IT System Engineer (Managed Services) applicants with a background working with a MSP or CSP.

IT System Engineer (Managed Services) Responsibilities:

  • Server deployment and decommissioning
  • Client line of business software deployments/ upgrades/ migrations
  • Microsoft Exchange, Online and On-Premise
  • Azure cloud migrations
  • MFA and M365 security enhancements
  • ROAM (Microsoft Teams and VoIP solution)
  • Deploy, upgrade, review, and document network infrastructure, including high-availability firewalls and stacked switching
  • Install and configure Windows Servers, peripherals, network devices, and storage devices in accordance with internal standards and project requirements.
  • Develop, document, and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Communicate project statuses and planned changes/outages for clients internally and externally.
  • Mentor other technical staff to help ensure that everyone is growing professionally and that knowledge of client infrastructure is being disseminated throughout the organization.
  • Provide technical design recommendations to our vCIO team to help ensure proper project scope and IT best practices.
