IT System Engineer (Managed Services) Responsibilities:
- Server deployment and decommissioning
- Client line of business software deployments/ upgrades/ migrations
- Microsoft Exchange, Online and On-Premise
- Azure cloud migrations
- MFA and M365 security enhancements
- ROAM (Microsoft Teams and VoIP solution)
- Deploy, upgrade, review, and document network infrastructure, including high-availability firewalls and stacked switching
- Install and configure Windows Servers, peripherals, network devices, and storage devices in accordance with internal standards and project requirements.
- Develop, document, and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Communicate project statuses and planned changes/outages for clients internally and externally.
- Mentor other technical staff to help ensure that everyone is growing professionally and that knowledge of client infrastructure is being disseminated throughout the organization.
- Provide technical design recommendations to our vCIO team to help ensure proper project scope and IT best practices.
