IT System Engineer (MSP)

Currently, we are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented IT System Engineer This position will assist with client inquiries, preparation of scopes of work and is responsible for taking on project engineering (migrations, onboarding new clients, firewall implementation) and serving as the highest point of escalation when needed.
IT System Engineer (MSP) Responsibilities
- Implementation and design (servers/networks/etc.)
- Implementation and management of virtualization platforms
- System migrations and upgrades (software/cloud solutions, etc.)
- Consulting clients on best practices
- Leading Infrastructure related projects
- Serving as an escalation point when needed
IT System Engineer (MSP) Requirements:
- Experience spinning up and deploying Windows Servers
- 3+ Years working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED**
- 10+ years of IT experience
- Experience setting up, configuring and supporting network equipment such as Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet
- Standard network infrastructure installations and upgrades (VPN, routers, firewalls, switches, WAPs)
- Cloud solutions – Experience with managing/deploying Azure resources (VM, AAD, Storage, Hybrid Environments, AVD)
- Experience with Virtualization Technologies (VMware, HyperV, Citrix)
- Endpoint Configuration Management
- Mobile Device/Application Management (Intune preferred)
