IT System Engineer (Senior Level) – MSP
We are a Dallas based Managed Service Provider who has been servicing the Dallas market for 20+ years. We pride ourselves on our white glove customer service and have multiple career paths for our techs including cloud services and security. Our team has a structured tier system and professional services team.
The IT System Engineer will be joining our Projects team designing and implementing solutions for our SMB customer base. This position will involve migrating our clients to the cloud and taking a proactive approach. The System Engineer is a Senior Level opportunity and will be mentoring our junior technicians.
IT System Engineer (Project Team) – MSP Responsibilities:
- Designing, Implementing, and Support Azure
- Networking design and implementation
- Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Servers and Workstations Operating
- Cloud and virtualization using Hyper-V, VMWare, and other technologies.
- Firewall, Router, Switch installation and configuration
- Implementation, administration and cloud migrations over to Office 365
- Support and administration of MS Windows Server solutions (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, etc.)
IT System Engineer (Project Team) – MSP Requirements:
- 1+ years experience working for a Managed or Cloud Service Provider
- Must have 8+ years of IT experience
- Experience with ConnectWise or Kaseya a major plus!
- Experience migrating companies from on prem solutions to the cloud
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Workstation Operating Systems and Applications
- Advanced knowledge in; servers, routers/switches/firewalls.
