IT System & Project Engineer (Managed Services) Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Microsoft Azure and VMware.
- Design implementation, and support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Azure Active Directory, Azure Infrastructure, Office 365, Intune, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
- Design, implementation, and support services for Apple technologies. (JumpCloud)
- Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Familiarity with security solutions such as: Threat & Vulnerability Management. SIEM management. Change Management. Cyber Security Awareness Training and phishing tests. Endpoint Protection Response.
- Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Windows Virtual Desktops.
- System documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendations.
- Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages.
- Aid in security gap analysis initiatives by documenting and verifying compliance through various systems. Review group policy and Intune settings, validate IT asset inventory, User access, etc.
