IT System Support Administrator (Managed Services) Responsibilities:
- Implement and support virtualization technologies including Hyper-V and VMware.
- Implement and support network technologies: WAN/LAN connectivity, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless, and general security
- Implement and support secure remote access solutions: VDI, terminal services, and VPN
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, & security of clients’ data by adhering to security standards.
- MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization
- Configure, implement and support servers and other key components in Azure.
- Act as an escalation point for junior technicians.
IT System Support Administrator (Managed Services) Requirements:
- 3-5 years working in a Managed Service Provider environment (supporting various client domains/infrastructures concurrently)
- Working knowledge of cloud collaboration environments, mainly M365 and G-Suite
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies like Hyper-V, VMWare, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of UTM appliance capabilities and security capabilities with SonicWall, Fortinet, Meraki, or equivalent.
- Experience with scription, automation, containerization, orchestration, and/or configuration of management tools.
