IT System Support Technician (ConnectWise) Overview:

At this time, we are only considering IT System Support Technician (ConnectWise) applicants who have previously worked for an MSP or supported multiple domains concurrently.

Due to organic growth, we have to look outward to expand our team and are currently seeking an IT System Support Technician (ConnectWise). The IT System Support Technician (ConnectWise) is the first line in providing customers with technical support both onsite at customer locations and from our East Rutherford headquarters. As an IT System Support Technician (ConnectWise) you will touch a variety of technologies such as Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, M365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Meraki, SonicWALL, Azure, and more.

IT System Support Technician (ConnectWise) Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Triage and prioritize incoming tickets from clients’ support needs
  • Work at customer locations providing end-user technical support, hardware installation, and infrastructure replacement as needed
  • User onboarding and offboarding computers and accounts
  • Manage and maintain server, storage, and virtual infrastructures (Hyper-V and Azure)
  • Escalate tickets to tier 2 and tier 3 support technicians as needed
  • Understanding of networking services such as DNS, DHCP, and ability to troubleshoot basic connectivity problems
  • Workstation imaging
  • Virus/Malware removal
  • Maintain and update documentation

IT System Support Technician (ConnectWise) Required Qualifications:

  • Previous MSP experience
  • Experience with administration of M365, licensing, administration and Azure
  • Experience with administration of Active Directory, implementing and troubleshooting Group Policy, and AD topologies
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – must have polished presentation improving the client’s experience in the first interaction.
  • Resourceful, and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
