IT Systems Engineer (Microsoft Products) – MSP:

We are an IT Managed Service Provider that supports a wide variety of industries including but not limited to Legal, Manufacturing, and Healthcare organizations. We make it a point to stay up to date with technology and ensure our engineers have the necessary resources to continue advancing their career’s. We have a wide variety of service offerings including Cloud Services, Managed Services, Security Services, and Professional Services.

Currently, we are seeking a Senior Engineer to focus primarily on projects migrating companies to the cloud, building servers, and deploying networks. The IT Systems Engineer will primarily be working remotely but must be located in the Chicago suburbs for occasional office visits and client visits.

IT Systems Engineer (Microsoft Products) – MSP Responsibilities:

  • Server Migrations to Azure environment
  • Server Builds
  • Network Hardware Deployments
  • M365 Email Migrations
  • New Client Onboarding and Deployment

IT Systems Engineer (Microsoft Products) – MSP Core Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of MSP experience working in a heavy projects capacity REQUIRED****
  • Experience in Tier III, administration, configuration, management and design of Windows Server-based corporate networks
  • Expert in real time documentation
  • Strong communication and ability to explain technical solutions to business owners

IT Systems Engineer (Microsoft Products) – MSP Technology Requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022)
  • VMware and Hyper-V
  • Microsoft Active Directory (Trusts, Group Policy, Login Scripts, etc…)
  • Microsoft Exchange Setup, Configuration, and Troubleshooting\
  • Microsoft SQL Server Setup and Troubleshooting0
  • Microsoft 365 Setup, Migrations, and Troubleshooting
  • Azure Entra ID, Azure Servers, and Microsoft 365 admin center
  • Enterprise SAN Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting (HP, Synology, Nimble, EMC, Etc…)
  • Data backup and recovery solutions (Acronis, Datto, etc…)
  • Enterprise Wireless Setup, Administration and Troubleshooting
  • Layer 2/3 Switching
  • Experience supporting UTM firewalls (Cisco Meraki, Sophos, Sonicwall etc…)
