IT Tier 3 Engineer & Team Lead:
We are looking for a IT Tier 3 Engineer & Team Lead with strong leadership and managements qualities. The IT Tier 3 Engineer & Team Lead will spend 30% leading the team, 70% on escalations (no lower level tickets).
The IT Tier 3 Engineer & Team Lead will be joining a prestigious Managed Service Provider that has been a leading IT organization since the early 90’s. Our services include Cyber Security, Professional Services, Managed Services, etc. We are a collaborative group and pave the way for our techs to grow internally and advance their technical knowledge.
IT Tier 3 Engineer & Team Lead (MSP) Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Ensuring optimal service delivery and client satisfaction
- Supervising junior engineers
- Microsoft 365 administration & migration support
- Azure infrastructure (design, implementation, management)
- System Administration (Windows Servers)
- Security & compliance to safeguard infrastructure
- Backup & disaster recovery
- Network Infrastructure management (configure firewalls, provide support)
IT Tier 3 Engineer & Team Lead (MSP) Requirements:
- 3+ years of Microsoft cloud administration
- 3+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED*
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines
- Experience with backup & disaster recovery
- Experience migrating clients over to the cloud
- Experience with VMware
- Experience with ConnectWise
- MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, AZ-400 a major plus
- Experience Managing Projects start to finish
- Experience serving as a manager or team lead
