Jr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider

We are seeking a Jr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider to join a unique and growing Managed Service Provider firm. The Jr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider will primarily be responsible for project-based work with occasional escalated support. The Jr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider will lead engineering efforts for complex projects, improving processes, networking, and systems to remain a leader in the MSP market.

The Jr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider will work with high-value clients, designing and implementing infrastructures and moving clients from on-prem to the cloud. The Jr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider will provide our valuable clients with the best customer service on-site and remotely. The selected candidate will also offer innovative engineering solutions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. TheJr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider will perform hands-on Systems/Network engineering.

Jr. Projects Engineer – Managed Service Provider Responsibilities:

  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED
  • 3+ years working in a Project-oriented role completing migrations
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills (emphasis on technical communication) in a business environment.
  • Experience providing customer service on-site and remote to our valued partners.
  • Design, Implement, and Support LAN/WAN technologies (i. e., installation of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, etc..)
  • Design, Implement, and Support storage area networks (SANs)
  • O365 migration experience
  • Support both AWS/Azure infrastructures
  • Virtualization via Hyper-V or VMware
  • Remote access solutions: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
  • Design, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in-house servers
  • Design, implementation, and support services for hosted and cloud solutions for customers, using technologies (Office 365, Azure, AWS, etc.) that align with their business need
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory
  • Networking experience with Cisco and SonicWall
  • Conducting Network Assessments
