Salary: $60K – $70K base + commission

A well-established technology provider serving small and medium-sized businesses in the Baltimore and Washington metro areas is seeking a Sales Account Executive to join their team. About the Role:
The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology. Additionally, the role involves managing sales leads, maintaining sales metrics, and assisting with marketing materials and business development strategies.

Sales Account Executive – MSP Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Sales Development:

  • Research and identify potential clients and target markets.
  • Generate leads through phone, email, and social media outreach.
  • Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Manage incoming sales leads and sales metrics.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and engage with existing client and prospect lists, including a Warm 250 list.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Marketing & Business Development Support:

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create sales collateral, presentations, and proposals.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences.

Networking & Industry Engagement:

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Participate in professional organizations and online communities to stay informed about industry trends.

Sales Reporting & Process Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
  • Prepare sales reports and present insights to the sales team and leadership.
  • Assist in developing internal sales training materials and refining sales processes.

Sales Account Executive – MSP Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage client lists and business documentation.
  • Support the leadership team with business process improvements.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals, contracts, and marketing materials.
  • Set up meetings with prospective clients and qualify potential sales opportunities.

Sales Account Executive – MSP Requirements:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
  • Experience in sales, business development, or marketing.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks.
